Alida is a young and special girl who suffers from neuroendocrine hyperplasia of infancy, an extremely rare disease that causes heaving breathing especially to babies. In order for her to breathe normally it requires the aide of an oxygen tank.
She started catching up with the loss sleep and other problems caused by her disease - thanks to the oxygen tank. There was no problem when she was crawling as it was easier for her parents to put her back to place and she can't get that far either. But as soon as she started walking new problems arose.
One day, her parents saw on TV about service dogs. They wanted something that follows her wherever she goes and that's when Mr. Gibbs came into picture. Your heart will simply melt as you watch Mr. Gibbs carry Alida's oxygen and gave her a normal childhood that she enjoys.
