Snake aboard a plane

Honestly, reptiles especially snakes are something I am not fond of, let alone an up close and personal encounter with them. It's interesting to note though that in Australia, home to some of the most venomous snakes in the world, an Australian pilot who saw a snake on board and slithered down his leg managed to land his plane even his blood pressure and heart rate was a bit elevated.

It was reported that Braden Blennerhassett was aboard the Air Frontier from Darwin to the town of Peppimenarti on Tuesday when the reptile appeared in the cockpit. "It was frightening and an interesting experience," Blennerhassett told Nine News.

Air Frontier director Geoffrey Hunt said Braden Blennerhassett handled the situation well even having trouble communicating with the control tower. Unfortunately, the snake was not found when they searched the aircraft. According to them, it will be grounded until the snake is found.

I guess "Snakes on a plane" isn't just a movie title.
